ENR Regional Rankings: CEC Checks in at No. 15

ENR Texas/Louisiana Ranks CEC Facilities Group No. 15 in Region

IRVING – ENR Texas/Louisiana announced its latest top specialty contractor rankings, and CEC Facilities Group rose to No. 15 in the region, up five places from last year.

CEC FG’s largest contract in 2020 was Equinix Data Center in Dallas. CEC FG provided electrical installation on this 290,000 square-foot multistory building.

CEC FG grew or added several new services in 2020:

  • Audio-visual services: The pandemic has changed the way offices and schools operate. This group helps owners and decision-makers seamlessly integrate audio-visual solutions for today’s office needs, including displays, occupancy controls, intuitive integration, and signal transmission.
  • Infrastructure group: CEC FG’s expertise provides forward-looking installations and uptime-preserving renovations for data centers, long-haul fiber-optic networks, wireless systems and more.
  • Prefabrication: CEC FG’s prefabrication warehouse grew with the addition of industry veteran Chris Green. His manufacturing experience helped refine CEC FG’s extensive electrical capabilities and grow its mechanical prefabrication options. CEC FG has or will soon add plumbing batteries, ductwork, hangers, and more.

ENR’s national list ranked CEC FG No. 200. Among electrical-heavy contractors, CEC FG is the sixth-highest Texas-based contractor. CEC FG checked in at $157 million in 2019 revenue and has $252 million in new contracts.
