CEC knows how to get the job done – and still have time for St. Patrick’s Day fun!
Our infrastructure team took part in a St. Patrick’s Day parade in Billings, Montana. Teammates loaded equipment onto a trailer, decorated it with Celtic garb, and joined 50 other Billings organizations to celebrate the first signs of spring.
Almost 25 teammates took part of their Saturday to walk the parade route, meet locals, and teach people a little more about what CEC stands for, and how we’re benefiting the community. CEC may be a newcomer to the region, but we want to be part of the community for years to come.
According to industry magazine Engineering News-Record, CEC is one of the top 150 contractors in the nation. In Billings, CEC is building a 500-mile fiber-to-the-home broadband network, and it will service almost 45,000 service addresses, bringing high-speed internet to a fast-growing region.
Billings has celebrated Irish-American heritage for 40 years with music, cloggers, bagpipes, and other live entertainment. TDS Telecom sponsored the event.
