VISION
CEC University endeavors to be the leader in industry training as we provide the tools for employees and high school students to gain new skills and knowledge that contributes to their safety, success, and the performance of the company.
Our mission is to elevate the learning experience for employees as we foster an environment of innovation, growth, and safety. We want our training programs to change the lives of all team members and assist them to realize their full potential incorporating CEC’s values of loyalty, passion, and preparedness.
MISSION
PURPOSE
Together we build a resilient and sustainable training program for CEC through teamwork, innovation, experience, and collaboration. We provide a training environment for employees and students that encourages learning that affects outcomes. CEC team members will want to stay at CEC because we are investing in them.
CEC University recently partnered with Grand Prairie ISD and Trimble Tech in Ft. Worth ISD for an internship program. We had 12 interns that were juniors in high school for the field. CEC hosted Intern Signing Day for each high school. All interns went through the CEC NHO and were then placed on different job sites throughout Dallas/Fort Worth area, and in the Pre-Fab shop. They worked for forty hours a week for eight weeks. CEC is extremely proud of these talented young women and men!

CEC Facilities Group is an approved NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor. Get trained with curriculum that is recognized worldwide.
Apprenticeship Training
CEC Facilities Group is approved as a NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor (ATS). This allows us to use the NCCER curriculum as the base curriculum for our trades training. NCCER curriculum is recognized worldwide, and the training taken by employees and interns is reported in a national registry. The first trade for CEC is the Electrical Program. This a four year program, consisting of 640 hours in the classroom and Lab.
